- Install, maintain and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
- Perform general electrical maintenance.
- Inspect electrical switchgear and other electrical components.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate of testing devices.
- Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
- Follow Electrical Standard Regulations and local building regulations.
- Confer with customers, engineers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering products or projects.
- Ensuring that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements.
- Ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements by directing or coordinating installation, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, documentation, support or testing activities.
- Writing reports and compiling data regarding PPM and Repairs
- Preparing specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials.
- Participate in ‘out of hours call out procedures’ on an “On Call” rota system and take appropriate action
- Work in accordance with Sodexo’s policies and procedures
Essential
- I.E.E. 17th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Completion of electrician apprenticeship.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Electrical system and maintenance and repair knowledge.
- Previous proven experience working as an electrician
- Personally motivated with initiative, flexibility, and innovation to continually develop skills.
- Flexible approach to assisting other trades
