We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our team at the British Airways Lounges, Gatwick. You don’t need any experience to be a Kitchen Assistant just an appetite for excellent customer service, an appreciation for good food and the rest we can teach you.

What you’ll do as a Kitchen Assistant:
Being a Kitchen Assistant is about being perfectly placed to see how one of our kitchens operates. It means being able to work in all areas of the kitchen, helping chefs, building your knowledge and playing an important role in the smooth running of the operation.
- Helping with deliveries
- Taking responsibility for maintaining the cleanliness of our kitchen and restaurant
- Assisting with customer queries
- Assist in the preparation of menu items as directed by the senior Chef.
- Carry out the smooth and efficient running of your section as appropriate.
Things to note: In order to work at the airport, you must have a full 5-year reference history with no gaps longer than 28 days and proof of rights to work in the UK.
Please note that we operate from 4:30am to 22:30pm so you must be able to travel into the airport within these times.
