Specialist training company HIT Training and hospitality jobs board HJUK have joined forces to offer support for those who have recently been made redundant.

The two companies have put together a redundancy support programme to prepare individuals for re-entering the world of work in the post-COVID-19 future.

The programme will help boost CVs with new skills, prepare people for online interviews, update CVs and search for jobs to find new employment.

As part of the programme, individuals will be signed up to webinars and courses, including:

  • Level 2 Certificate in the Principles of Customer Service and/or Level 2 Certificate in Digital Skills
  • Level 2 Award in the Prevention and Control of Infection
  • Managing Change and Building Resilience

They will also have the opportunity to boost CVs with other relevant training, such as:

  • Awareness of First Aid for Mental Health

  • Infection Control and Safe Working
  • Online Interview Skills
  • Customer Service in the World of Now

To enrol, you’ll need to have evidence of being made redundant in the last three months and also live in one of the eligible postcode areas.
